Problem Statement:

Let's face it, the use of online testing often allows a lot of opportunity for test takers to cheat. Even with some current online test taking tools, stakes are often high, and test takers will do everything in their ability to gain an advantage. Testing isn't just used in schooling, it's an important tool to determine if someone is truly qualified for the position. You want to know that the doctor who'll be doing your operation or the lawyer who'll be representing you in court is doing so because they have the correct skills and knowledge, not just because they Googled the answers to their exam.

Covid-19 has proven the importance of secure online testing, as organizations and institutions have shifted to administering most of their exams online. Though we might return to a time when physical testing will once again be a possibility, that doesn't mean we can't work towards fixing the issues that come with administering an exam online, and making it a safe exam option in the future.

Our solution is to create a wearable display that will allow only the user to see the content of the exam and their answers. In addition, the test taker will be unable to see their surroundings, preventing them from accessing outside information not allowed for the exam. The test takers will be able to answer multiple choice questions and navigate the test with controls mounted on the side of the headset. The headset is also a perfect platform for the addition of sensors to remotely proctor the exam with to further confirm that the test taker has no outside advantage while taking the test online.
